Earlier today one of my behavioral scientist rockstars, Dan Ariely, held an “AMA” (~ ask me anything) on several interesting topics.
Dan Ariely is a great behavioral scientist, writer and thinker.
During Professor Ariely’s AMA, Listeners could engage and ask questions on any topic that is currently relevant in our lives.
Some interesting topics that were discussed are: motivation, the great resignation and the role of tech and innovation in regards to the latter.
As a behavioral scientist, working in a tech startup I also see this trend where organizations become more bureaucratic in their “innovation”, making it less human, less personal and all about the wrong factors. I’m happy to hear that Prof. Ariely also thinks innovation and rapid technological advancements should be designed more cautious with the human experience at its core. Super glad I got to poke prof. Ariely’s brain on this topic.
What are your thoughts on infusing behavioral insights in technological innovation. Feel free to share your experience with tech innovation in your company, the good and the bad.
